Madhya Pradesh Tourism Minister holds road shows in Oman, Turkey

Bhopal: Madhya Pradesh Tourism Minister Tukojirao Puar held road shows at Muscat (Oman) and Turkey’s Ankara and Istanbul cities with a view to attracting foreign tourists to Madhya Pradesh, an official spokesman said.

On the occasion, Mr. Puar referred to best hospitality of Madhya Pradesh. Giving information about all the major historic and religious tourist destination in Madhya Pradesh and India, He reportedly invited foreign tourists to visit Madhya Pradesh.

Mr. Puar underlined tourism-related features of Madhya Pradesh. He said that tourism in Madhya Pradesh is multi-dimensional. He informed the foreign tourists about tourist destinations of Taj Mahal at Agra, Dargah Sharif at Ajmer, Taj-ul-Masajid, Jama Masjid and Moti Masjid of Bhopal and Bohra Masjid and Mumtaz Mahal at Burhanpur. He said that tigers, sprawling forests, World Heritage Khajuraho, Bhimbethka, Sanchi and Mandu, Gwalior, Ujjain, Orchha and marble rocks of Bhedaghat are also tourist attractions in Madhya Pradesh.

Mr. Puar also gave information about major pilgrim centres of India including Amarnath, Kedarnath, Badrinath, Tirupati and Sanchi and holy rivers including Ganga, Yamuna, Kaveri and Narmada.

Giving information about tourist facilities being extended in Madhya Pradesh, the Tourism Minister said that there is good air, road and train connectivity for reaching tourist destinations in the state. The Madhya Pradesh Tourism Development Corporation will make available full information and CDs on the state’s tourist destinations through the embassy.

Mr. Puar said that India is known for its respect towards all the religions. Besides, it is also a country with diverse tourism potential. Throwing light on features of tourist destinations from Dal Lake of Kashmir to Kanyakumari and from Assam to Gujarat, he said that this is why our country is called “Incredible India.”
