Scholars sponsored by Hyderabad's FEED gain success in Andhra Pradesh Civil Services prelims

Hyderabad: Hyderabad-based NGO ' Foundation for Economic and Educational Development ' (FEED) being run under the stewardship of Ghiasuddin Babukhan, in a recent press release said that 19 of the Scholars sponsored by it have cleared the Andhra Pradesh State Civil Services (APSCS) Group –I Preliminary Examination. They are now preparing for the Main Examination schedule in September 2012.

"These students were supported by FEED for undergoing coaching in the reputed training institutions of Hyderabad. All these scholars belong to poor families and were unable to afford the expenses for their coaching," the press release stated. 

Out of 31 scholars supported by FEED for the coaching, 19 students came out successful in this examination. After they clear the main exam and subsequent interview, they would become eligible for posting in the Rank of Revenue Divisional Officer which is the No.2 position in district administration, after District Collector and Magistrate. 

"These students will also be provided support by FEED for their Main examination. We expect a good outcome and also selection of some of them for District Administration in key positions of decision making," Ghiasuddin Babukhan, Managing Trustee of FEED siad in the press release.
