Bhopal: Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mr. Shivraj Singh Chouhan visited Song–Do Town (High Tech City) in Seoul on the last day of his Korea visit on Saturday. Industries Minister Mr. Kailash Vijaywargiya and business delegation of Madhya Pradesh accompanied him.
This high tech city is about 60 kilometers to the east of Seoul city. The fascinating city is being developed as world model of sensor-activated, computer-driven management of an entire city.

The Chief Minister apprised himself about details regarding Korea’s design-centric future. Even in its incomplete state, it already has one of major identities of Korea. The 68-storey North-East Asia Trade Tower is Korea’s tallest building. The City’s Song-do Trekking Course is a great way to discover the scenic charms.

Mr. Chouhan invited developers of Song-do to replicate similar model in Madhya Pradesh. Explaining in detail about the upcoming Delhi-Mumbai Industrial Corridor, (DMIC), and developing industrial areas, the Chief Minister said that the state has the potential to accommodate such high tech city.

Responding to the invitation from the Chief Minister, developers of High Tech City said that they will study the state and looked forward to replicate this model in Madhya Pradesh.
