Society for Bright Future holds workshop on Fire Fighting and First Aid

New Delhi: A workshop was organised by Society for Bright Future (SBF) on disaster management with the joint effort of Jamaat-e-Islami Hind, Delhi and Haryana zone, under the Vision 2016 programme on May 20, 2012. In the inagural  session of workshop Ex Assistant Commissioner of Delhi Disaster Management Authority acquainted the gathering with tips on First Aid in tackling problems erupting during and after disasters like fire and earthquake through a power point presentation.

On this occasion, Mohd. Shafi Madni, Secretary of Jamaat-e-Islami Hind, emphasised on rendering service to the humankind. He said that there was need to work on it in a planned way. Speaking on the concept of social service in Islam, Mr. Madni said that Islam had great concern for human beings. He stressed on the need to adopt practical steps during the catastrophe and casualties. Mr Madni praised  the trained volunteers  for their services and relief works to the victims of Gujrat quake and Orissa flood.

In the second  session, South Delhi Fire Station officer R.K. Yadav  gave tips on fire safety and fire fighting. SBF Coordinator Amjad Khan introduced the aims and objectives of Society for Bright Future (SBF). Hundreds of people residing Delhi NCR participated in the workshop.The workshop was organized by Mohd Nayyer, and Rafik Ahmad, Assistant Secretary of Jamaat-e-Islami Hind. National Coordinator Vision 2016 Salimullah Khan and Kamaluddin Ahmad were also present on the occasion.
