HWF offers scholarships to 45 Muslim students of Delhi

New Delhi: The Human Welfare Foundation (HWF), a Jamaate Islamic Hind-affiliated national NGO, has offered scholarships to some 45 selected Muslim students of Delhi at a Scholarship Distribution Ceremony held on 8th April at conference Hall of the JIH headquarter. The programme was orgnised by Students Islamic Organization (SIO).


The ceremony was chaired by Naib Ameer e Jamaat, Syed Jafar. He said, "The purpose of getting education should not be to get a good job, but we should accept the concept of getting education according to Islam." He also said that planning is also important for getting success.
The selected students were mainly those who are seeking to get higher education in the field of humanities, social sciences, journalism, NGO management and other courses.


Prof. Zubair Meenai, HoD of Social Work Department, Jamia Millia Islamia was the Chief Guest. He reminded the students about their responsibilities and said that their purpose is also to serve humanities .Well-known Personality Development Trainer Mohammad Saeed participated as Guest of Honor.
