OPINION: The demolition of Babri Masjid and the verdict of God

By Syed Zubair Ahmad

In my childhood I saw some people suffering from leprosy, also few others who got mad and died. I used to hear about them that those were the people who tried to destroy our local mosque and vilify the Holy Scriptures.

When Narsimha Rao died and his half roasted body become a feast for dogs it made me recall the verse of Holy Quran which declares: “And who are more unjust than those who prevent the name of Allah from being mentioned in His mosques and strive toward their destruction. It is not for them to enter them except in fear. For them in this world is disgrace and they will have in the Hereafter a great punishment. (2:114)

According to Holy Quran there are two types of people who will be humiliated in this world and face severe punishment hereafter .Among them are those who prevent people from going to mosque to worship the Almighty God, secondly those who tries to demolish the worship places of God.

Now look what happened to those who played with the religious sentiments of the people and hold back the people from going to Masjid or tried to demolish a mosque.

Rajiv Gandhi was assassinated in such a way that his body was recognized by his Lotto shoes. He was the man who paved the way for the destruction of Babri Masjid. The then Uttar Pradesh chief minister Veer Bahadur Singh, who played an active role to allow the Puja inside the Babri Masjid died of heart attack outside India. Nothing is known about him.

What happened to Narsimha Rao is known to all. When he was being cremated, all of a sudden dogs arrived and started eating his half burnt body, and this was a live telecast on a T.V. channel.

The day Kalyan Singh, the then Chief Minister of U.P. helped R.S.S & Company to pull down the Babri Masjid, was the beginning of his humiliation. Politically he had been buried now and he is facing endless insult and humiliation on daily basis.

L.K. Advani is tiring desperately to become the Prime Minister of India, but despite the entire favorable situation he couldn’t make it till now. He was defeated by a person who never won an election before becoming the Prime Minister of India. Now the dream of Advani to become the PM seems to be a distant one. Moreover, he became a villain overnight after praising Founder of Islamic Repubic of Pakistan Mohammad Ali Jinnah.

Ms Uma Bharti became the Chief Minister only to be removed from the post facing insult. .Later, she was expelled from her party in the utmost humiliating manner. Now she is struggling to get an identity, but her humiliation continues to increase. We know about the tragic end of Pramod Mahajan, the person who was the financial manager and one of the main conspirators to the movement which resulted in the destruction of Babri Masjid.

Where are Govindacharya, Ashok Singhal, V.H. Dalmiya, Sadhvi Ritambhara, and other conspirators who played any role to pull down the Babri Masjid?

One of the vocal conspirators Bal Thackeray had undergone many tragedies. Many of his family members died in road accident, his daughter-in-law joined the Congress, and his nephew is busy in mud slugging with his family, while his party is out of power from more than one decade.

This is not an end of humiliation for the conspirators who strived to prevent people from worshipping Almighty God or tried to demolish the house of God. There are lots of humiliations in store for them. It’s just unfolding. Their crime is very serious, so will be their punishment. Some have got their punishment; some are in the waiting list of God. But the harshest punishment they are bound to get is in the Hereafter.

  1. Nice piece of journalism.

  2. Interesting and entertaining ....at the same time reflecting the reality......

  3. Very good article. Inshaallah all the person who are responsible for the demolition of the house of God would have to pay either directly or indirectly. God himself will take revenge.I think no any religion give permission to its follower to destroy the religious structure of any one.

  4. a very good researched article indeed. I wanted to tell you that as far as
Bal Tachery is concern, I have read or heard a report about the Death of
    his wife.
When tachery's wife died, the ambulance could not reach tachery's house cos
of a festival in mumbai. The so consumed tachery who has his own fleet of
ambulances, None could reach his residence to save his wife. Please research
into this too and can be added in the article.
