Popular Front of India's Social Justice Conference office inaugurated

Bhopal: Popular Front of India, a social movement which is striving for the total empowerment of marginalized section of society, especially Muslims, is going to hold Social Justice Conference at Ramleela Maidan in New Delhi next month on November 26th and 27th.

The office of the Social Justice Conference was inaugurated on Monday at Vardhaman City Plaza 2, Asaf Ali Rd, Near Ramleela Maidan, New Delhi at around 11am.

According to a Press release issued by  Mohammed Ali Jinnah, the Convenor of the Conference, the office was inaugurated by Moulana Nawabuddin Naqshbandi, Chairman Muslim Muthahida Mahaz, and the first copy of manifesto of the Social Justice Conference was issued by E. Aboobacker, the National President Social Democratic Party of India (SDPI). Popular Front’s National General Secretary K.M Shareef delivered the welcome address.

The introduction and the theme of the Social Justice Conference was delivered Popular Front of India Chairman, E.M Abdul Rahiman. He said: “This is for the first time Popular Front is organising a major public programme beyond South India. Build the Nation on Justice is the slogan carried by the forthcoming conference”.

Later, National President of SDPI speaking on the occasion said: “This time round people are going to fight for their rights instead of asking charity. Moreover, he said it is a larger conspiracy as in the 1970’s RSS and Jan Sangh used J. P. Narayan for their political needs in the similar fashion Anna Hazare is being used by the same communal forces. The communal tension occurring in the recent times in West Bengal, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh and Madhya Pradesh are part of a larger conspiracy”, he added.

The President of Ambedkar Samaj Party Bhai Tej Singh extended his full support to Popular Front to make the Social; Justice Conference a success Moulana Zulfiquar Ali, Vice President of All India Imam Council, and Prof P. Koya, NEC member Popular Front and Editor of Thejas, a Malayalam daily, were among the prominent persons who attended the programme.

Imam (Muslims leaders) and Muslims from various parts of Delhi attended the gathering. Finally the programme concluded with the vote of thanks proposed by Mr. Mohammad Ali Jinnah, Convenor of the Social Justice Conference, the release added.
