The Home Minister stressed that apart from redressal, action should also be taken against the concerning police officer if the complaint is found to be true.

Underling importance of this system, Additional Chief Secretary Mr. Ashok Das and Director General of Police Mr. S.K. Raut said that it can be implemented in the entire state. Every district's Additional SP will be made its nodal officer.

It may be noted that any person can register complaint on toll-free number 155343 of Tele-Samadhan Kendra if he is not satisfied with police action in any case. The complaint is redressed by the nodal officer within 15 days. The complaint is forwarded to senior officer if it is not redressed in 15 days.
